Access Reading
Access Reading Tests helps you compare learners ages 10–16 against their cohort at a school and national level, understand their reading skills and areas where they can improve, and provide targeted interventions throughout their education.
The test lasts for 30 minutes and covers 4 different strands of reading literal comprehension, vocabulary, comprehension requiring inference and comprehension requiring analysis.
Students in Upper Key Stage 2 in Lower and all Upper students complete this assessment with the Intervention Team as part of their Induction. Dragonfly students completed this when it is clinically appropriate to do so.
