An education in science provides the foundations for understanding the world through biology, chemistry and physics.  All students will be taught essential aspects of scientific knowledge; it’s methods, processes and uses. Through the building up of key knowledge and concepts, students will be encouraged to recognise the importance of being able to give evidence to support their ideas and develop a sense of excitement and curiosity about the world around them. Students will be encouraged to understand how science can be used to explain what is occurring, predict how things will behave, and analyse causes.
